Event tech support from first build to doors open.
Hands-on help with the Cvent side of your event: registration changes, check-in, badges, the Attendee Hub and whatever breaks the week before, all tested before anyone travels.
What this covers
Most event-day problems are not event-day problems. They are decisions made weeks earlier: a registration path nobody tested, badges designed the night before, a check-in setup that was never rehearsed. Event tech support covers both ends. Before the event we configure, test and rehearse. On the day your team runs the desk while we stay close to the platform, and where you need extra people in the room we arrange and brief them. Afterwards we help pull the numbers together. Support can be a single event, an event-day add-on to a managed Cvent engagement, or part of an ongoing retainer through a busy season. It suits teams that run events in bursts and cannot justify a standing technical hire, and agencies that want a platform specialist beside their producers on the day.

What you get
Fewer surprises
Most check-in failures are prevented in the two weeks before the event. We spend that time on the things that go wrong, not on the things that already work.
Shorter lines
Kiosks, printers and lanes sized for the real arrival rush rather than the average, and rehearsed so the first hour is not the first test.
Someone who knows the platform
A specialist on hand who knows how your account is configured and what each setting does, so a problem becomes a fix instead of a search.
Questions, answered
What is event tech support?
Hands-on help with the technology behind an event, before and during it. For us that means the Cvent side: registration, Attendee Hub, OnArrival check-in, badges, scanning and the reporting that comes out the other end.
When should we start planning?
Earlier than feels necessary. The check-in and badge decisions made two weeks out are the ones that cause trouble on the day, and the sooner we are inside the account, the more we can test. Our pre-event launch checklist runs phase by phase from kickoff to doors open.
What does a rehearsal involve?
We run the check-in setup end to end with test registrants: scan a badge, print one, handle a walk-in, change a record, and try the fallback path. The aim is that your team has seen the process work before the doors open.
Does it cover the Attendee Hub?
Yes. We check the agenda, sessions, notifications and links on a phone before launch, and can handle changes while the event is live if you scope that in.
Do you provide staff on site?
By default your team runs the desk and we set everything up for them. Where you need extra hands, we arrange local staff and brief them. Tell us where the event is on the first call and we will say how we would cover it.
Can you handle large events?
Yes. We size kiosks, printers and lanes to the expected arrival pattern, then test it before the event. The free Onsite Check-in Calculator gives you a first estimate of stations, staff and printers.
Can you join us just for event week?
Yes, scoped as a single event. Because we will not have seen your configuration, we want time to review it beforehand, so give us as much lead time as you can.
What if something breaks during the event?
That is what the rehearsal and the fallback plan are for. When something does fail, you have someone who knows the configuration. We agree how and when you can reach us before the event starts.
Do you support hybrid and virtual events?
Yes. Streaming, session pages and on-demand content are configured and tested before the event, and we hold a Cvent certification in Hybrid Events.
Can you help with registration problems too?
Yes. Registration changes, new paths, fixes and discount code problems are part of the work. Event dates do not move, so these changes should not wait weeks.
Which platforms do you support?
Cvent is where we are deepest. We also work on Stova, Whova and Swoogo. If your event runs on something else, we will say so on the first call.
How is this different from the OnArrival service?
OnArrival and badging is the setup of check-in and badges. Event tech support is the wider cover around it: pre-event launch checks, registration fixes, Attendee Hub checks and help while the event is live. Many events need both.
Can an agency bring you in for a client event?
Yes. We work white-label if you want us to, inside the client's account and under your name.
Is this part of managed Cvent services?
It can be. Event tech support works as a one-off for a single event or as the event-day part of an ongoing managed engagement.
